Your satisfaction is our priority. We offer a 30-day window for eligible refund requests from the date of service.

At DENTIST CA, DENTAL PRACTICE OF JOHN K. LEUNG D.D.S. P.C., we are committed to providing exceptional dental care and ensuring your complete satisfaction. We understand that sometimes situations arise that may require a refund. This policy outlines our refund procedures and guidelines.

Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund

  • Prepaid services not yet rendered
  • Duplicate payments or billing errors
  • Insurance overpayments (refunded to insurance company)
  • Cancelled appointments with advance notice (prepaid deposits)
  • Products returned unused in original packaging within 30 days
  • Services where agreed-upon treatment outcomes were not met

Generally Not Eligible

  • Completed dental procedures (examinations, cleanings, fillings, etc.)
  • Custom dental work (crowns, dentures, custom trays) once fabricated
  • No-show or late cancellation fees
  • Services where patient non-compliance affected outcomes
  • Requests made after 30 days from the date of service

30-Day Refund Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the date of service or purchase. Requests received after this period may be considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you have any concerns about your treatment or charges.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Contact Our Office: Call us at (650) 888-9217 or email johnleung@dentalpracticeofleung.us to discuss your concern.
  2. Provide Details: Be prepared to provide your name, date of service, description of the service or charge in question, and reason for the refund request.
  3. Review Process: Our team will review your request within 5-7 business days and contact you with a decision.
  4. Resolution: If approved, refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 10-14 business days.

Refund Methods

  • Credit card payments will be refunded to the original card
  • Cash payments may be refunded by check
  • Check payments will be refunded by check
  • Insurance payments will be coordinated with your insurance provider

Dental Products

Dental care products purchased from our office (such as toothbrushes, whitening products, or mouthguards) may be returned for a full refund within 30 days if they are:

  • Unused and in original, unopened packaging
  • Accompanied by the original receipt
  • Not custom-made or personalized items

Exceptions and Special Circumstances
